FAQ
Common questions.
What is the difference between HR and HRPO?
HRPO (hot rolled pickled & oiled) has the mill scale removed by acid pickling and is oiled against rust — giving a cleaner surface for painting, forming and welding.
Can you supply chequered plate?
Yes — tear-drop and diamond pattern chequered plates are supplied from HR, typically 2 – 12 mm thick.
Which is better for Europe: China or India origin?
It depends on trade-defence measures and safeguard quotas in force at the time of shipment. We check duties and quota status by origin before making an offer to EU buyers.
