Brushed steel surface

Cold Rolled Coils & Sheets

Cold rolled steel is reduced at room temperature after pickling, giving tighter thickness tolerances, better flatness and a clean, bright surface — ideal for appliances, furniture, automotive parts and as substrate for galvanizing and colour coating.

FAQ

Common questions.

Full hard or annealed — which do I need?

Full hard (unannealed) is strong but has little ductility — usually for further processing such as galvanizing. Annealed CR is soft and formable for pressing, bending and drawing.

Can CR be slit or cut to length?

Yes. Slit coils and cut-to-length sheets can be arranged at the mill or a service centre to your dimensions.

What tolerances apply?

Tolerances follow the ordered standard (e.g. JIS G3141, EN 10131). Tighter tolerances can be agreed with the mill at order stage.
